Ayie
Just a little breakie from the Air Show & Museum post, I want to share you something new. =)

What first came to you after seeing this? Too much Elisse?

If you thought of it a s a clock pattern, bingo!

Now to start with my experiment....by the way, I didn't get the clock new. We happened to see this plastic wall clock in the church thrift store. I badly wanted to buy one since I've been itching to do some craft. Finally, i saw one perfect clock for the work. We got this for less than a dollar so no regrets if I mess it up. =) At first I thought of making a family clock, putting all the faces of my family and my husband's but I had a change of heart and decided to just make an Elisse clock. Remember my niece and her bunny? So I gathered her photos and started doing some photoshop woks. Look at the dismantled clock below, that's about to be transformed!

Tadaa!!!

After a few minutes working on the clock, I'm finally done.
What do you like better... the old boring one or this 12hr cuties?

    this is awesome!
we often talked about altering a clock but almost never put that into action.
you did a wonderful transformation for the clock.
i am definitely going for the 12 hours cuties. :D

  16. Ayie Says:

Lina, I looked at the brand at the back...it's from Ikea that's why it looked like one =) except you got yours with the ikea price =P I was so happy when I found out I will be experimenting on a good quality brand! hehehe

Glad you like it, thanks! I can't get enough of elisse!

  17. Ayie Says:

Ramblings, I'm not sure if they were able to show elisse my project. I emailed everybody at home and dad said he likes it. =) That reminds me to ask them to show it to our little girl!

My weekend was a lot more relaxed this time, hope yours was good too. A great week ahead for you! Thanks!

  21. Ayie Says:

Levian, finally I was able to get my experimental clock! I won't have the heart to buy a brand new and dissect the clock into pieces! hahaha!

Cheers for the 12hr cuties! thanks!

  22. Ayie Says:

  25. levian Says:

its success pretty much thrilled the rest of us as well. :D
btw, what is your email address again? :)

  26. Mummy Gwen Says:

Wow...ganda, you are super talented. That's a very creative new clock. :) Well done.

  27. Ayie Says:

Mummy sexy, thanks so much. Btw, are you still in Singapore?

  28. Ayie Says:

    Levian, it's jifdesigncreations@yahoo.com =)

  29. Ayie Says:

SK, yeah I can see her everyday and everytime I look at the clock! It's hanging right there on our bedroom door. Those photos remind me of those times we were together, me taking care of her =)

  30. levian Says:

    thanks!
you will be hearing from me pretty soon i am sure. ;)

  31. foongpc Says:

Wow! You are so creative! And free too! Haha!

  32. foongpc Says:

Of course the clock with the Elisse's photos are better than the original with numbers! But I am afraid I don't know how to read the clock! Because the photos and the rabbit are just too distracting! LOL!

  33. Ayie Says:

Foong, what do you mean free? free to mess things around here at home? =P

Are you serious? You really get distracted with banyang there? Just look at elisse hours, that will do the trick! =)

  34. levian Says:

that was fast for a reply! :)
the clock would be so entertaining now that you have it working,
i believe you will be looking at your clock more often now? :p

  35. Ayie Says:

you can expect fast replies on weekdays coz i work on the computer almost the whole day =) it's good at least we can talk better there, no bounds!

I am always checking time there, good thing I can still read the time even if i don't have glasses though it' very blurry =)]

I emailed the photos of the clock to my fam and dad said it's good =)

  36. levian Says:

ah, the weekend-away-from-pc similarity that we shared. ;)
that is very reassuring to know.
no bounds indeed, n we get to know each other in a much more detailed way. :)
if you need the "needles" to be clearer, you can apply a thicker needle on the clock. :D

  37. Ayie Says:

It's ok levian, my eyes are really just bad, grade is a little high. =) I think it's my eyes that need adjustments =)

  38. levian Says:

    take it slowly there.
i have friends who wore glasses back then, slowly has their degree reduced as well.
    it is not impossible. :)

  39. Ayie Says:

I don't change my prescription glass grade as it adjusts to keep my eyes from adjusting to a higher grade too. =)

  40. levian Says:

    ah, that make sense.
n i heard, sometimes by looking at the greens, without wearing glasses, might help. :)

  41. Ayie Says:

Levian, greens can help your eyes relax. That gives out a soothing feeling for the eyes. So when you are stressed from work and computer, just look out the window and stare at green plants and scapes.

  42. levian Says:

it would be so cool to have some green scenery to look at during work.
from all the dull colors surrounding the office, i can imagine it to be extremely soothing. :)

  43. Ayie Says:

You can have a small table plant so everytime you are stressed you can release it there, taht will work too or maybe search for a nice green plants over the net

  44. levian Says:

a small table plants sounds inviting
although searching through the internet is much more convenient. :)

  45. Ayie Says:

Levian, the only thing is it's not as calming and relaxing looking at the real plants =)
