Ayie
Ooops, got caught up with many things these past days that's why this post came a bit later than it should. Now I'm back to give you the 2nd part of our mini "field trip" =) The first part was introduced with a variety of planes and some nice model kits. Now we're moving further in but not all the way the museum area. These great oldies greeted us and certainly put a smile on our face. Where else can you find such road classics?

...hubs and I striking a pose...

Like what i said from my previous post, I have too much shots to display so here's another slide video for your viewing pleasure. This time, no more planes...all vintage cars!!! I enjoyed the first part of our "photo session" already and I had such overload of classic roadies this time around.

What do you think? Like it or not? I tried more edits for the slide video to make it a lot livelier than the first one.

...I specifically chose this car to display. I find it cute and classy with a bonus teddy rider...

I was surprised when my hubs saw this truck because he told me to take a photo and not the truck alone but with him posing right there. Hehe he must really love this one! I gladly took the shots. It's rare that he would pose right then and there so why not?!

you are correct Ayie, the video in this post is livelier than the other one, and my favorite vintage car is the 3rd picture (not counting the video of course). it is almost like a toy. you are so cute with the vintage car :)

  2. Ayie Says:

Hehehe Betchai, I'll take that as a compliment! *lol* how i wish I could ride in one even just for a photo opt! :D

Glad you like the video too. Have you figured out how to make videos now?

  3. lina Says:

Wow! So many vintage cars! Cute pose there too! :-)

  4. levian Says:

    nice cars!
n you look so adorable posing right beside the car there. ;)

  5. Mummy Gwen Says:

The video is very nice. You are good in this. :) You look so young, ganda. It's really an eye opener to be able to see so many vintage cars.

  6. Ayie Says:

Yes Lina, vintage overload!!! I didn't take photos of all cars but just those we find cool =P hehe, thanks for the compliments too =P

  7. Ayie Says:

Levian, you're back!!!! Glad to have you back! Where have you been? =P

Would you like to own some classics or just see it in the museum or display? I think it's cool to own one too =) Thanks dear!

  8. Ayie Says:

Mummy sexy!!! I'm really not that good yet in the video making, trying to explore more and it's only my 2nd time trying it out. Thanks, I'm happy you like it. I look young? weeee!!! *lol* I think my height does the trick =P

I hope you'll have some vintage exhibit there in M'sia too.

  9. [SK] Says:

didn't see you posing with your hubby together? but from the angle of the first 2 photos, you don't have a big "distant" from him like what you've described to me earlier, haha :p

  10. levian Says:

you should have known my story by now.
guess i wouldn't have to explain it to you. :p
it will be pretty fancy to own one,
i never imagined owning a classic before. :D

  11. what a charming collection of vintage cars. The classic beauties are shining in pristine glory. i'd love to ride on them, Ayie.

  12. what a cute pose.

for some reason, i wonder why i can't play the video.

  13. Good night and have a fabulous week, Ayie.

  14. foongpc Says:

Wow! So many vintage cars! Cute poses too! Haha!

I like the slide show. Thanks for sharing : )

  15. Ayie Says:

SK, don't be fooled by the photos! haha...hard to have shots together coz nobody else can take the shots and I can't find a good spot to set the cam. If you look at the car closely, my height will just reach the side mirror when I stand real good. I don't reach all the way to the car's roof! I wish! hahaha! To further convince you check this out http://jifphotojournal.blogspot.com/2009/05/hundred-islands.html, you can see us good there. =)

  16. Ayie Says:

Levian, yup... you went for a holiday date! ahahaha...peace!!!

Owning one is cool but driving around with it...hmmm maybe a bit embarassing for me coz I know how people will look at the car too much. I think anybody will get conscious!

  17. Ayie Says:

Ramblings, did you try refreshing the page? i hope you were able to play it...there's a lot more cars there in the video. Let me know if you're still having problems.

Hehehe, seems everybody's fond of my pose =) haha rare that I get good angle!

I'd love to ride one too and take for a spin drive but not allowed =(

  18. Ayie Says:

Have a good week too Ramblings! Mid-week already...almost weekends! wohoo!

  19. Ayie Says:

You're more than welcome foong, thanks for all the appreciation =) haha, another point for the pose! *lol*

how about you, would you like to own and drive one like this too?

  20. Carver Says:

You got some great shots of the vintage cars.

  21. levian Says:

oh yes, everyone will definitely stare!
we even stare at the new ones,
not to mention the rare classic ones.
imagining it alone is enough to make me nervous already. :p

  22. Ice Says:

These vehicles are really classic! Some people are really enthusiats on collecting these sort of vehicles, aren't they?

  23. Bengbeng Says:

quite a collection of vintage cars. i would loved to take pics of them. but not just the exterior but possibly macro shots of their accessories of an older era

  24. JIF Hub Says:

    @Bengbeng: that's a good pointer! :)

  25. Ayie Says:

Carver, Thanks...I got carried away snapping photos seeing all the great vintage displays!

  26. Ayie Says:

    Levian, that's exactly what I mean! =P

  27. Ayie Says:

Ai, oh yes most esp people here. We see classic and muscle cars here and there even in freeway. It's nice to own and keep one but the price getting one is no joke. Would you fancy driving one too?

  28. Ayie Says:

Bengbeng, having macros of their accessories is a great idea. Too bad we're not allowed to open the cars and check what's in. I took some shots of the engines. I just didn't get to post it afraid that people might ask what's the machine and i just don't know what to say! *lol*

the vintage cars are just a bonus...we're surprised to see a lot there =) thought it will just be planes

  29. [SK] Says:

hmmmm, i saw that already!! haha.. :p

  30. JL Says:

Hi Ayie, after looking at these pics, I thought that your hubs somewhat looked like a macho cowboy in Wild West in the last photo. If he had the boots and jeans he'd really be the man! XD

I always saw you at Foong's blog but had no time to come over to your blog. Sad. Hence I'd like to invite you to come to my blog now and join in the game to win a novel for yourself (or your friend)! 240-pages, BRAND NEW. I hope that you can win :)

  31. Ayie Says:

Hi JL! thanks for checking out my blog. Actually I've been checking your blog for a while already and I was even here looking at those flowers yesterday. I usually check blogs several times before I even attempt to leave a comment, trying to see most of the posts. Anyway, thanks again.

  32. Ayie Says:

JL, i had to look again at the photo to picture out your description! haha! I don't think I can ever make him wear cowboy suit and boots, just not his style =P

I'll go check out that novel thing later =)

  33. Ayie Says:

Sk, so you did! hehe isn't it clearer there... the difference?
